Warranty Policy

We warrant all Ritchie instruments to be free of defects in workmanship or materials. If a Ritchie magnetic compass has a manufacturing defect within five years of purchase date, it will be repaired or replaced without charge. This warranty does not cover breakage through accident or misuse.

Factory Return Policy

To return new product that has been purchased directly from Ritchie, the item must have been purchased within 30 days and be in saleable (like new) condition. For custom built compasses (Super Yacht, Skylight, and Navy Standard series) a 25% restocking fee will apply.

Non-Warranty Return Policy

If your compass has inadvertently been damaged, most of our compasses are repairable. We have a list of Authorized Service Stations that can perform repairs. Stations use Ritchie parts and set their own repair pricing.

We also sell parts 781-709-3202 or can perform repairs at our factory (see Compass Reconditioning program).
