Return Policy and Procedures
 
To return a product for refund that was purchased from Ritchie directly, the item must have been purchased within 30 days and in saleable (like new) condition. For custom built compasses (including Globemaster and Super Yacht) a 25% restocking fee will apply. We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. Follow our shipping procedure to ship your product.
 
To return a product for repair, we have over 100 Authorized Service Stations throughout the world. These service stations are capable of repairing most Magnetic Compasses produced by Ritchie. Although these service stations do not repair Ritchie Electronics they may be able to help you with trouble shooting.

Most Authorized Service Stations stock common parts. In the event that an Authorized Service Station needs parts, Ritchie will provide them a soon as possible so the repair can be completed quickly. In the event that a faulty compass meets our Warranty requirements an Authorized Service Station will repair the unit at no charge. Estimates can be provided on request, for units that do not fall within our warranty limitations.

If you are in a rush, our Authorized Service Stations can usually provide faster service!

In addition to our Authorized Service Stations, Ritchie also has a complete service facility at the factory. This facility can provide warranty as well a non-warranty work. Ritchie can receive units via a delivery service (UPS, FedEx, USPS) or as a drop off at our customer window. Units meeting our Warranty requirements will be repaired or replaced at no charge and returned. Estimates will be provided for all non warranty repairs. Estimates for units received via a delivery service will be sent out within 1 to 2 weeks after we have received the compasses. This process may take longer during peak seasons.
