JONATHAN SHERMAN NAMED PRESIDENT OF RITCHIE NAVIGATION
PEMBROKE, Mass. (February 8, 2007) – Ritchie
Navigation, a leader in marine compass manufacturing for over
150 years, has announced the promotion of Jonathan Sherman to
the position of President and CEO. Sherman was formerly the Sales
and Production Coordinator for the brand, and will replace Paul
Sherman, who has stepped down, but will retain his position as
treasurer of the corporation.
Sherman, 32, joined the company in 1998 in sales under the direction
of Steve Sprole, V.P. of Sales and Marketing, whom he will continue
to work alongside.
“Jon has contributed to numerous product developments and
manufacturing initiatives during his time here,” said Sprole.
“Together, we’ll ensure a smooth transition and continue
the success we’ve achieved under prior management.”
Sherman is a graduate of Bentley College with a B.S. in Finance.
He is an avid boater, fisherman and snow skier, and resides in
Pembroke, Mass.
